Who we are

johto.data ("we", "us") compiles public-records data into lead feeds and publishes data tools on Apify. Contact: [email protected].

Information we collect from you

Forms. When you request a sample, start a trial or place an order, we collect what you enter: name, email address, company (optional), the product or offer you choose, plan, your selection or order details (such as states, trades or cities) and, on sample and trial requests, your consent to be emailed. If you pay in crypto, we also record the transaction hash, the chain and the paying wallet address. We store this with Cloudflare (our host) to reply, send samples and deliver your order. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence for the same purpose.

How you found us. If you arrive through a link with campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar) or from another website, our site saves those tags, the referring page and the page you landed on in your browser's local storage. They are sent to us only if you submit a form, together with your request. You can clear them anytime by clearing your browser's site data.

Outbound clicks. When you click a link to our Actors on Apify, the site sends us a small event with the link, the page you were on and any campaign tag. It contains no name, email or identifier.

Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites or build profiles; it reports aggregate page views and performance.

No cookies, no ad trackers. This website sets no cookies and loads no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Cloudflare, our host, logs your IP address and the country derived from it to deliver the site and block abuse. When you submit a form, we use your IP address to limit spam (kept for about an hour) and include it in our internal alert for that submission, and we store the country and your browser type with the submission.

Data in our feeds

Our feeds are built from official public records, such as the FMCSA motor carrier census and city building-permit portals. By default, we leave out officer or owner names and personal cell numbers from carrier feeds. If a record is about you and you want it removed from future feeds, email us and we will suppress it.

How we use and share information

We use your information to reply to your request, provide and support the service, and bill you. We do not sell or rent the information you submit. Service providers process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, form storage, analytics), an email delivery provider for notifications, and a payment processor when you pay by card.

Retention

We keep form submissions for up to 24 months unless you become a customer, and customer records for as long as you are a customer and as required for tax and legal purposes. Outbound-click events are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information. Email [email protected] and we will delete your submissions on request.
